House rules

To make your stay at Hotel Sonnenspitz even more pleasant, we ask you to read through the following house rules and pass them on to all fellow travelers. Please note that the General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of Hotel Sonnenspitz also apply. You can find the terms and conditions on our website.
House rules for the Hotel Sonnenspitz

§ 1 Safety and fire ban

Open fires, smoking and lighting candles are not permitted in the entire indoor area, especially in the room and on the balcony. Violation leads to compensation for damages, a cleaning fee of 150 € and possibly a house ban. Costs for fire department operations due to negligent activation of the fire alarm system are to be borne by the person responsible.

§ 2 Reporting of complaints

Complaints must be reported immediately to reception.

§ 3 Leaving the room

Please note that the weather can change quickly and sudden rain showers are not uncommon. For this reason, windows and doors must be closed when leaving the room. The guest is liable for damages caused by negligent behavior.

§ 4 Additional cleaning costs

You may be charged additional costs for extraordinary cleaning of the hotel room after check-out.

§ 5 Windows and security

For safety reasons, it is not permitted to lean out of the windows. The window sill must not be used as a seat. The escape stairs may only be accessed in the event of fire.

§ 6 Access to the rooms

Persons not booked at the hotel are only permitted access to the rooms after prior registration at reception. The hotel and its employees reserve the right to deny access in individual cases.

§ 7 W-LAN use

Use of the free Wi-Fi is subject to the provisions of data protection and the protection of children and young people. Violations must be reported.

§ 8 Prohibition of pets

Pets are not allowed as we are an allergy-friendly hotel.

§ 9 Night’s rest and peace and quiet

Between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m., please respect the night’s rest and keep the room volume down so as not to disturb other guests. Please refrain from using the showers and baths during this time window as well. Violation of the house rules may result in refusal of further stays and possibly a house ban.

§ 10 Fire

In the unlikely event of a fire, follow the evacuation plan on the inside of the room door and inform reception immediately.

§ 11 Repair and maintenance work

The accommodation provider or persons authorized by the accommodation provider shall have access to the rented rooms from 10 a.m. for necessary repair and maintenance work, including flower care and room cleaning. In the event of urgent work to prevent further damage, the Proprietor shall be entitled to enter the rooms at any time of the day or night.

§ 12 Exclusion of liability of the accommodation provider

The accommodation provider accepts no liability for loss, theft or damage to guests’ personal belongings, unless such damage was caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the accommodation provider. The Proprietor shall not be liable for injuries, accidents or damages incurred by guests due to the use of hotel facilities, equipment or services, unless such damages are due to gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Proprietor. The accommodation provider accepts no responsibility for disruptions or interruptions to the hotel facilities, equipment or services due to technical problems, repairs, maintenance work or force majeure. The accommodation provider shall not be liable for damage caused by unforeseeable
Circumstances such as natural disasters, war, strikes, political unrest or similar
events are caused. The accommodation provider accepts no liability for injuries, illnesses or health problems of guests that are not directly attributable to negligence or omissions on the part of the accommodation provider. The Proprietor shall not be liable for any losses or inconveniences caused by disruptions in the supply of electricity, water, heating or other utilities, unless such disruptions are due to gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the Proprietor.
